How Tool Selection connects to billing
Tool Selection is tightly connected to the billing system. Pricing depends on the number of tools enabled and the number of assigned users.
Every change to tool selection needs to be reflected in the billing section. You can purchase any combination of product tools for sale.
After a tool is turned on
- The tool shows on the Product Tools page
- Users can start a 14 day free trial or buy an import and edit seat
- Tool features stay unavailable until the trial or paid seat is active

When a tool is still off
If a tool is off for the organization, Product Tools shows it as locked with a link to Tool Selection. Trials and subscriptions cannot start until an admin turns the tool on.
When a tool is turned off later
- Day-to-day import and edit access stops
- Billing is prorated / adjusted for that tool
- Your data is not deleted
